4GB file size limit using bootcamp xp

20" iMac: 2.66GHz
I had downloaded a file and went to extract the .RARs but got an error saying that I couldn't have a file size more than 4GB. I still have the XP install disc so if I have to re-install XP a different way. I was doing all this through Bootcamp.

Is XP on a FAT32 formatted drive, that would explain the 4 gig limit

You will have to totally reformat the drive to NTFS

Otherwise you can copy the file over to OS X and let UnRarX uncompress it

Yea I installed it as that on a 32GB partition. How would I reformat the drive and would it effect my other partition I'm using right now lol. Thanks.
