Everytime I Connect My Ipod, Itunes Backsup......

and syncs. Is there a way to just charge it without always backing up and syncing my songs photos etc. And also is there a way to delete songs from my computer/itunes library without them syncing and deleting them from my ipod.

Select "Manually Manage" from the ipod menu in itunes. Note:you will have to manually eject it before unplugging it.

Protip: Click the "X" in the mini window at the top of iTunes.

Go to Preferences in iTunes and click "disable automatic sync"
