Question on Adium

Hi guys... I have a question about Adium... See i recently switched over from Windows and I'm used to using Windows Live Messenger... There's a function whereby you can show people what song you are listening to as your personal message on Live Messenger... When I use Adium, there is this thing with a green circle that says iTunes... So basically, what happens when I choose that? Does my personal message becomes what's playing on my iTunes?
