2g on a 3g charger

You guys rock. Always great info, but I've got a tech question for you:

I have a 3g iPhone, my fiance has a 2g. Can we both use the 3g charger and cable so we only have to pack one?

Yes. Obviously the Docks are incompatible but the USB charger "bricks" are compatible with both iPhones (and most other USB products).
