Compatibility with Samsung MP3 (YP-Z5F)

Hi all, I just got a Macbook running Leopard, and when I plug in my MP3 player (Samsung YP-Z5F) it says that my computer cannot recognize the device BUT the device knows that it is plugged in and also seems to be charging which should mean it's ok (and not a problem with the cable). I have searched high and low for lists of Mac-compatible Samsung players but no go...does anyone who owns said MP3 player have any problems when connecting it to a Mac? The model I am using is a flash drive so by right it should have no problems, I was wondering if it was a problem with the driver, if so is there anywhere I can download it?
