I wanted to know what the maximum ram is for my model mbp. I can't remember if I have the 3gb or 4gb max model.

Bought in August 2007.

Heres the specs...

Not 4Gig of RAM for ALL Core2Duo's...

The earlier 2.16 and 2.33 processors only took 3Gig...

But your 2.2 processor, with its 800MHz Bus speed (not 667) will take 4Gig.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I've been wondering why my MBP maxes out at 4gb. Is it a software or hardware issue?
