Hey all,
I let my friend borrow my macbook since I got a macbook pro, and he just returned it to me, except for he deleted everything. So I'm trying to use the migration assistant, but he deleted everything in the applications section as well. How do I fix this so my info on my current macbook pro is transferred onto the macbook so I have it on both of my laptops?

Thank you so much,
Tanner

Tanner,

Won't migration assistant do this for you? Try hooking the 2 together with a firewire and do the transfer. If those don't work, do you have a backup external drive? You could hook it up to your Macbook and transfer whatever you need (from your MBP to your Macbook)...

If you don't have a backup, time to start. If you should lose your hard drive, you'd have to start all over.
