Hi, I ran bootcamp and installed Ubuntu a few months back and i was really excited to use it but it just hasnt gotten much use and is just taking up hard drive space at this point. I went back to boot camp to remove the partition but it doesn't give me the option to. I've looked around at this problem before and it seems my only option is to purchase a copy of something like ipartition but i was wondering if i had any other options.
Thanks.

Parted Magic Boot CD can handle hfs+ partitions, so you might be able to use it to delete the Ubuntu partition and then expand your hfs+ partition to fill the unallocated space. You can download it free from here: http://partedmagic.com/wiki/PartedMagic.php

Some people report that Parted Magic Boot CD will lock up when trying to resize the hfs+ partition, but at least it's free.
