So its that time to buy a new laptop for college. I have used PC my whole life, and I really don't see a problem switching. I do have one major problem. Music is a huge part of my life, both playing and listening to, and I have been a Napster subscriber for about a year and i love it. I do like the design and functionality of iTunes more, but I'd much rather "rent" and get instant access to songs rather than buy every single cd i want. I know it sounds new-age but whatever it is what it is. Does Apple have a subscription service of any kind? Or are their other programs that are compatible with mac?

Dont bash, I know it's a dumb thing to be the only thing preventing me from going all mac.

There is no subscription service on iTunes. You don't have to buy whole cds either, you can buy individual songs. $.99 a piece.

You could sign up for Rhapsody which works threw your web browser. I've used that a couple of times. :)
