printer switching on me

So... i've had the craziest problem, i work at a newspaper office and we run between 8 and 10 mac g5's with tiger and have recently purchased a new printer. The old printer and the new one are both minolta page pro 9100's. When we got the new one i went to each computer, set up the new printer and renamed the old one, all has been well until today the printers switched, i print to the new one and it prints off the old one.. you get the picture.

so anyone know whats goin on?

I've tried resetting the default printer in the printer setup utility with no luck and i guess im just gonna go around and re setup everything, just wonderin what would cause this to happen or if anyone else has had it happen.
