Hello,

are there any experts on writing applications for Mac out there?

- What language is used?
- Is there an SDK?
- Books?
- Development Software?

I've just recently switched to a mac from a life of windows **** ;D and there have always been plenty of books on writing windows apps but i can't seem to find much for OS X.

I've heard something called Apple Script mentioned around but im not sure if im on the right track.

xcode actually comes on your os x disc, but you have to choose to install it. you can just pop in your disc, and it's in the developer tools. the most common language i believe is called cocoa.
