Ical Help! First time user!

I want to install leopard on my Macbook pro but before i do, i was wondering if there was a way to save my calendar in Ical to transfer over. I use Ical alot and i have events in it up to 2 months in advance and instead of writing everything down and transferring ( that would take forever!) is it possible to import my old postings?

Before doing any new OS install, you should back up your user folder(s) and other critical data to a 2nd or external drive. When you install Leopard, you'll have the option to migrate your user data from a backup. That will include your iCal events.

Install using Archive & Install -- that should preserve everything. A backup is not a bad idea, just in case!
