Mute switch doesn't work on You Tube!

So I am sitting at work with the "ringer turned off" and to my suprise, the sound came blairing when I watched a you tube video. Hopefully Apple will address this!

20 inch aluminium iMac, 2ghz, 1gb memory, 250gb hd
Unfortunately iPod, YouTube, Safari, and some games will all play sound when the silent switch is on. I guess the only way around it is to turn the volume right down or to plug the earphones in. Yes, hopefully Apple does something about this issue.
