New MBP Today

Hey guys, just writing a message to say I finally received my MBP this morning and spent the time installing software and setting it up etc. I ended up ungrading to the 2.6Ghz processor and also got the 7200rpm HD. But with the money costing to upgrade these parts was balanced back out with taking the student discount off the price of the laptop. But what im wondering is that apple never checked with me to see if I had proof of being a student. Now granted, they dont say they WILL check but im wondering if they are happy just to be getting rid of them just or not too bothered because of a new model coming out within a matter of months?

What do you guys think? Possible?

no clue how that works.. but im pretty sure they dont care... cause im sure a nwe model is coming
