Is this a genuine Leopard install DVD or is this a restore DVD from another product (iMac or MacBook Pro for example). If it's a restore DVD it will be designed to install on the machine it was bundled with only.

Otherwise Leopard should be very happy to install on your machine...

First, that is a 2Ghz C2D Intel Mac and not a 667Mhz Macbook. 667 Mhz is the Bus frequency and not the CPU clock speed.

Leopard will install on any Intel Mac. What leopard DVD is this? Did you purchase a Leopard full install or is some restore DVD from a friends machine? If the later they are model specific and will not work on any Mac except the exact model machine they shipped with.
