I got my new iMac about a week ago, and both my husband and I are so impressed with it we ordered a 2nd one for him! I also ordered a Time Capsule, and here's what I'd like to know:
We have broadband via a CenturyTel Westell wireless modem/router combination. No network setup though. I'd like to network the 2 iMac's, and our 2 Windows notebooks via the Time Capsule... and maybe the Xbox.
Printer and 2nd external hard drive hooked up to the Time Capsule.
Will I have to change anything for this to work (like bridge the Time Capsule to the Westell modem/router)? I'm a bit clueless on this. I want everything to be (remain) wireless, and the DSL modem is downstairs, while I need the Time Capsule to be upstairs for the printer.
Or will I plug in the Time Capsule and it will set everything up automatically? ;D
Thanks... sorry if that was confusing, I'm a bit confused, LOL
