128GB Barrier???

Hello all!I just put an 320gb western digital hard drive and I can't get passed 128gb... I did some reading and I found a driver this Driver http://www.SpeedTools.com/ATA6.html is this worth buying or is there another way around this?

Just so I am sure, you have a Quicksilver 2002? I was always told that from the 2002 Quicksilver on it would work with drives over 128Megs.

I'm gonna have to look harder maybe because that this is an 2002ED "educational" quicksilver....

Did a lot of searching and from everything I read your 2002 ED should work with large drives. Not sure what is going on. What version of OSX are you running?

All Quicksilver 2002 as dtravis7 states can handle the larger than 128GB hard drives and come with 800MHz, 933MHz or 1GHz processors. Maybe the ED series have been made to a lesser price and do not carry this feature?

Here in Australia when the Quicksilver (education series) were in use at schools, only ever saw the 733MHz model.
