newbie wireless video Questions - MacBook to TV ?

I am a new Macbook owner, and completely new to the MACLIFE ! So far, so good !!

I do have a question though. I would like to wirelessly connect, if possible, my MAC ot my plasma TV. what is the best balance of easy and not terribly expensive?

I do not currently have a wireless router or anything, I own one laptop with a verizion aircard, so I have no need for wireless as of yet.

who know, I might just run a cable under the couch, (I primarily use my mac on my coffee table !) , but just checking out my options !

The cheapest way would either be to invent the technology, or build a time machine and travel into the future. Because you can't do that yet!;D
