How to make a playable DVD image

17" Macbook Pro 2GB Ram 160GB hdd Anti-glare / hi-res screen 7200RPM hdd
I have a yoga DVD with a bunch of different options and menus, so I don't want to do the usual rip/encode stuff. How can I make an image of the disk so that I can at anytime simulate putting the disc in my drive?

Should I use Toast or can I do it with Disk Utility or...?
