widgets / dashboard keeps freezing

13-inch 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook
every time i open my widgets they freeze. they stay frozen until i restart my computer, then when i open them again they freeze again. what gives??

i'm on osx 10.5.2

okay...i figured out that every time i cliuck on my chuck norris facts widget is freezes everything.
