Hi,

I've got an old powerbook G4 with an 867 mHz processor and 640mb of RAM... how well will 10.5 run on it and should I maybe consider using 10.4?

It meets the minimums but meeting the minimums is never a good thing...

Thanks

Suggest 10.4 as it just makes the minimum specs and not much memory and doubtful the mobility graphics card would handle Leopard's Core Image.

Sorry.

Same. A guy is asking if he can get Leopard working better on his 867MHz tower with 2x the RAM because it's laggy.
I would stick with Tiger, still a very good OS.
