Hey everyone... Whats up? In my Power Mac Quicksilver 2002 ED I installed a belkin usb2.0 card in it. For some reason it only works after I turn the computer on then once it is used it won't turn on again. Is there something that i missed??? Any help would be appreciated....

Did drivers on a softare CD come with the card?

If not have you downloaded drivers from the Belkin web site?

USB2 cards are only so so and usually fail pretty quickly and revert back to USB1.1. If you want to use an external drive or a digital camera, see if you can get a Firewire connection.

I have a Belkin USB 2.0 card in my Power Mac G4 Digital Audio and it's worked great for 1.5 years now. I can't remember the model Belkin card. I just remember the PCB is blue. It has 4 ports in the back and one on the card. No drivers were needed at all with 10.4 and 10.5. It had Mac all over the packaging.

Ahh well for the 128GB barrier looks like not a Quicksilver 2002 so purchase a PCI Controller Card from OWXCor similar to see larger than the 128GB limit.
