2nd HD icon disappeared from desktop; how do I get it back?

Your Mac's Specs
G4, 450 Mhz, 384 RAM, Tiger 10.4.11
I was toasting a DVD when my 2nd internal HD disappeared and I can't seem to get it to return. I tried Diskwarrior and Disk Utilities (what's scarier, I can't verify permissions on my main HD with Utilities). Is there a shortcut to force my 2nd HD to reappear? Is this a job for Tech Tools (which I don't have)? Help!
