I purchased a refurb 2.2 GHz Macbook back in March. It seemed to be running fine, but in the past two days it refuses to acknowledge anything plugged into my two USB drives (external hd, usb stick, iPod, etc).

Has this happened before to anyone? Is there a simple solution, or must I go into the apple store to have it looked at?

Thanks!

Could be it needs some TLC... Download Mainmenu here and try it out: http://www.santasw.com/ Running maintenance and permissions scripts keep your OS X and hard drive in good shape in case anything gets out of whack. I execute batch tasks every day or two to keep things in shape...
