Hi there,
Does anyone have a version of 10.4 that I could borrow? I just picked up an eMac to mess around with, and it has 10.3. I'd like to upgrade to 10.4, but the I got rid of the copy I had like a fool.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Make sure you purchase the full retail install DVD and not a grey coloured system restore version.

Hmm, I noticed that grey disc too, which is why I asked the seller, and the folks in here. He said it is the a full install for any mac. Sometimes they are just for a specific type of Mac, or a specific unit.

Thanks for your input.

Here is what he said:

" Thank you very much for looking at our auction, X code are
developer tools not used by regular users, this training center
version is same as retail version but much cheaper, most
important I truly stand behind all our sales so please purchase
with confidence. "

The pictured (grey) disk is a restore disk for a particular Mac. If he says otherwise, he is lying, plain and simple.
