Mail.app starts up every time I log in

Mail.app automatically runs every time I switch my Mac on (or relog).

I don't have it set to do so in my account preferences, I did not check the autorun option in Dock either.

Any idea why it happens?

I have Leo 10.5.4, it happens only on my new iMac and not on MacBook.

go to your user preferences, click login items and put a tick in the check box next to mail to stop it, or delete it from login items altogether

As I wrote above this item is not present in my account preferences
