My macbook pro's speakers seem to be getting quieter. Okay, not seem to be, they really are. I will turn my speakers down to about 5 bars, and I can't hear a single thing. Volume all the way up sounds like it's at about halfway. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Or is there some setting I accidentally tweaked?

If your listening to music from iTunes, you might want to check the volume slider in iTines, it sometimes can throw speakers into a lower volume if it's not set up higher. Just my 2 cents worth.

Hmm nope, the volume is all the way up on iTunes. Anything else though?

Is it only iTunes or only alerts sounds or all the sounds?
Have you checked your system Pref.s' Sound Pref. Pane to check if all the settings are OK?

All sounds no matter what I'm running. And I checked my preferences and they're all fine from what I can see.
