Hi there.

I'm just a little curious as to how much power my emac uses?

I've got a second generation 1ghz model, with a 250gb hd, and 640mb ram.

I usually have it running through the day and turn it off and night. It would be nice to do a few occasional overnight downloads though and I was wondering how much extra power that would use and how environmentally friendly it would be?

Thanks.

Line Voltage: 100V AC or 220V AC Depending on country of use

The eMac uses a CRT monitor which draws a bit of current. It's not a lot and just have the monitor turn off after a certain amount of time.

Yeah I've got the monitor set to turn off after 20 minutes of inactivity :)

Cheers.
