Power adapter light not on???

My mac book is very new and when ever it was pluged in the power adapter would have a green or orange light depending on the batteries satus. now the green ligh will onlty show for about 3 seconds and then goes off.
does this mean that their is somthing wrong w/ my battery?? or my power adater
everything sems to be operation fin

mine has been starting to do the same thing. it is still charging and not showing any signs of having a problem.

That doesn't sound right. I would call Apple right away. I suspect it may just be the adapter light, but I would want to be sure. They'll fix whatever is wrong!

I have the same issue...seems to still be working tho...and I still get a full charge on the battery. I have noticed however, when I boot into windows, I don't have this problem,the light stays on green/orange. Under 10.4 and 10.5 it's a crap shoot as to whether the light will stay on...but like I said, at least it is still charging....

i had this issue with 2 new power adapters. the 3rd one hasnt done it since.

next time it happend, the machine was going to have to go in though.
