I had Pro Tools set up on my computer and the Pro Tools symbol has always been located in my dock for easy access. Now it's gone and I can't seem to find it in applications.

When I do a search for Pro Tools it's found and I can open it up and then it drops to the dock but when I close the project, it leaves the dock again.

Also on my desk top I have a file "Projects" where I have several songs, if I click on projects, again, Pro Tools opens up and drops into the dock, and again, when I close, it disappears again.

How can I keep the Pro Tools icon in the dock? Thanks!

All open application show in the Dock - it's the one's that stay there when they are closed that you choose.

Open it up again, right click on the dock icon and select 'Keep in Dock'.

OR find the application, and drag it from Finder to the dock.
