yeah... this sucks. there is a tiny little ant traipsing about the interior of my screen, gobbing up the beauty that was my 24 inches of gorgeousness.

any suggestions?

did you know an ant could get in there?

I hardly get ants in the kitchen, why would one find its way into my computer? It's not like I'm in there eating cheez-its.

I hate this ant. very annoying.

It's a nice warm place for them to lay their eggs. I would put some ant tramps close by.

Dang those tramps...

Putting some of those dirty tramps nearby may make the ant want to come out of the screen.

Perhaps he's just passing through. He may have seen the Apple and got hungry.

I once had ants crawl out of a laptop that I sat on the floor over night. Never happened again.

Wow. Strange!

He'll die eventually without food and water. Maybe just leave him and hope he doesn't snuff it in the middle of your screen?

That's a great headline ... "there's an ant in my iMac". On another forum, a thread headline read ..."There's a Toshiba Inside My Mac". :D

I think this could spawn a humorous thread in Anything Goes ... "there's a xxxx inside my xxMac!"

Apple does make some pretty SWEET computers.

That really does suck, and how the heck did it get in there?

Well, you can make a great relationship out of this, just hope he doesn't get in your way some times.

Haha I LOLed at that title!

I'm an idiot, so maybe I'm wrong, but maybe the heat from the screen would kill it? Then take off the glass and get out Mr. Vacuum. :D

Update to Original Post

OK, so the ant up and died and fell down just below my iPhoto icon. i guess he's going to stay down there a while. Rest well, sweet prince.

I actually got another photo of the little jerk while he was crawling over the photo of himself on the screen... weird, huh?

ok... image not working... it's here

The second photo is mesmarizing. I am staring at it and my brain is trying to focus on both ants and resolve the image into one ant. I feel like I am looking at one of those magic eye posters waiting for the secret to pop up.

I really hope this doen't happen to me. Of course with my busy background image I wonder how long it would take until I noticed...

LOL. I dunno whether to laugh or cry when I see your topic.

Ok, being on track. Perhaps you should try using this nearby to lure out the ants or possibly make it die soon.
