Streaming webcam and audio

Hey ppl.

I am looking into the possibilities of using a webcam with a microphone as a babycall device.

The task for this setup is to be able to stream video and audio from a webcam i connect to my Imac 24" to my macbook or iphone. For most of the time i will use this setup at home. When we are out traveling i gotta think of something else :p

I have looked into remote buddy, but they only offer video streaming through their AJAX remote system.

Does anyone have any pointers into which direction i should take?
