Airport Connection Fails on new SMC router!

Hi. I bought my MacBook last March. When I setup for my wireless, everything seems so smooth. Wireless connection never fails.

Note: We're using a Linksys router.

But after 3 months, our router doesn't work thus, we bought a new one: SMC Barricade N Pro. And right after this, my dilemma started.

My wireless connection is never the same again. Sometimes airport can detect our network, sometimes not.

In times detected, out of 10, only once will it connect to internet! WHY???
When i tried ethernet, internet works just fine! (at least this work...)

Btw, I sometimes brought my Macbook to other places with wireless connection like Intl. Airport and hotel and wireless works there!

So, why at home using SMC Router fails !?

At home, other laptop (non-Mac) & PC can connect to the wireless; and only my Macbook cannot

We even tried the network with and without password, but still its the same dilemma.

Why why why airport fails most of the time in this new router!???

I will appreciate most any immediate help that I can get!

EDIT: just to add that the wireless seems to work perfectly fine on my sister's iBook and my dad's HP, but not on my MacBook.

Same applies to my Macbook pro and SMC Barricade 7801 wbra :/
So far i haven't found any solution...
