Hi all, first post.
I'm writing to see if anyone else has experienced an intermittent problem with sound on the new intel iMacs.
Every few minutes, it's as if a notch band boost filter has been applied to the main sound output around 1kHz, it lasts for 10-20 seconds then disappears, returning again a bit later. It's irregular enough to be really annoying, especially when using logic or even just watching a movie.
Anyone got any ideas? I'm a refugee from Vista and this is the only thing that has bugged me (after 'fixing' the home/end keys and learning not to put "s in everyone's email addresses).
Thanks!
Running 10.5, 2.8GHz, 2Gb, 500Gb, with latest updates applied.
