USB question

Hi.
I recently bought a 17'' imac, and installed macam on it that would allow me to run my creative webcam (usb). now, when i use macam to try to take a still picture with my webcam, the image freezes (before i take the shot) and a message appears that there is a USB communication problem. Is this caused by the program or the USB port on my imac? thanks

It could be the program itself, most likely... or another application is stopping it from continuing its task. If you can, try installing drivers and update macam

Thanks, but the program is a brand-new install and it worked fine with the same webcam on my older 700 mhz imac, so i dont really know what the problem could be.

Download driver 0.9.2 and see if re-installing that will make a difference.
