I'm a recent switcher, and a little anal about organization of files. I had it down on my Windows machine, but I'm a little confused about the mac. I downloaded an album via torrent, and it's sitting in my Downloads folder. What is the proper way to import to iTunes? Can I just drag and drop into iTunes? I want my music consolidated in one folder, instead of spread all around the hard drive. Do I have to manually move the folder to the iTunes Music folder, then import to make sure it's all straight?

Am I making sense?

Just open the folder that the separate songs are in and double click on one. The song should be sent directly to iTunes. :) From there, you can edit/control/manage the information of the song, album, etc.

or you could make a folder on itunes for the songs, and just drag the downloaded folder to that location
