I'm going to be getting a macbook pro in a few weeks; just thinking of it gets me excited!

I live in Western Canada, and am thinking of moving to Scotland next year. Thing is, I've heard that in Europe they have different electrical plugs there, and that plugging something electrical designed for Canada into a power supply over in Europe will ruin the device. Is this true? I don't want to wait a whole year to get a macbook pro just because I'm moving...

I don't know if what I just said made any sense. Will clarify if anybody asks!

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure Apple has an adapter pack that will allow you to plug into EU or any world power outlet. So as long as your plugged in with the correct adapter you should be fine.
