This is aimed at everyone who has some kind of insight on China and Tibet's half a century long dispute.

I gave a speech last semester about Tibetan/Chinese relations and all the recent violence in Tibet.

Just curious what everyones thoughts are regarding the 2008 Beijing, Olympics. A lot of people think China should have been prohibited from hosting the events.

Any thoughts on Chinese/Tibetan relations or the Beijing Olympics?

I disagree with what China is doing to Tibet, but the Olympics is still gonna go on no matter what.
