Hi Guys,

I am trying to install Leopard on my Macbook Pro. I insert the CD and click on the Install Leopard icon that appears. It says click here to restart and installation will begin. Fine.

Then all it does is restart as usual, the installation does not start.
I have tried restarting while holding "C" and I have tried restarting while holding the option key and choosing the Leopard CD as the bootdisk.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening and a solution.

Thanks,

Has to be a Retail copy of Leopard to install, not another Mac's specific copy.

Which do you have?

I got a copy of my original disks from a backup I made (Originals Lost...:( )

Unless you have a bootable image then you are out of luck here.

Copy from a backup copy - look for originals I guess.
