Hey folks,
I'm looking for a program that will allow me to delete individual files using 35 pass Guttman deletion. I can't seem to find a free program anywhere.
Anyone know of any?

OSX does secure delete but its not 35 passes, and disk utility only does the entire drive or unused sectors of the drive. I am looking for single file deletion with 35 pass.

Thanks

Though I'm a bit curious as to why you'd need to. Standard seven-pass shredding, like you get from the Secure Empty Trash command, should be plenty to keep your kiddie porn and drug-trafficking secrets from the FBI. If you need more than that, it's got to be terrorism, right? State sponsored or lone wacko?

Thanks this will work. My secrets require 35 pass Gutmann. That's all you need to know.
