Can I delete songs from my Itunes library without deleting them from my Ipod when I plug in to sync? In order to keep this music on my ipod does it all have to stay on the computer?:

It order for the music to sync to your ipod it is required to be in the library. Hope this clears things up for you

It depends if you set your preferences to manually manage your songs on your iPod, i think. Thats what it was on window, i just recently switched though.
If you open iTunes and go to preferences, you can check the box for "disable automatic syncing..."


Then you can drag and drop songs from your library to your ipod to add songs.
