Hey,

Basically, I want to use iWeb to create the site, stick it in my Sites folder, and have people navigate to me on the local network and view the site.

i.e. they can browse to "192.168.2.xx" and up will come my index page. How is this set up, I can't normally seem to get it right :(

Web Sharing

I use a separate Apache web server on my network, but I believe all you have to do is enable Web Sharing in the Sharing portion of System Preferences.

It should be as simple as turning on Web Sharing in the Sharing tab of Preferences and directing people to http://macname/~username which you can quickly test.

If you want http://macname then that gets complicated for the average Joe.
