DVD player gone.

hey my dvd player all of a sudden dissapeared. now when i put a dvd in it just pops up the disks icone and i cant play it. i did a search for dvd and i only found the dvd bookmars and dvd script. someone please help, i tried askin at macnn forums and no one there is any help! :radioacti
