Just Got My PowerBook

I just got my 12" PowerBook yesterday, and I love it. I have ordered at Spymac.Case, and I am waiting for that to arrive, and I have to think of any other accessories I may need (I am going to order a mouse, probably a BT mouse from somewhere, and maybe a keyboard cover to protect the screen). I am so happy with my purchase. I used to be anti-Mac (because of ignorance) but after using them all the time (I am a computer tech at a college, and I am the exclusive support for the art department, who all use macs), it changed my mind for the better.

I am looking forward to years of development with Macs from here on out.

Congrats on the new PB!

I need to get myself a case made for a 12" PB, since I carry mine in a case made for a 15" laptop (I also have a 15" Sony Vaio that fits perfectly). Just a tad oversized for the PB, though...LOL ;)

Congrats on the PB, welcome to the clan.

For accessories like a bluetooth mouse, sleeve etc, check this place out:

I ordered the BT500 mouse (awesome), the PowerBook sleeve and the ScreensaverZ, pretty cool stuff.

I am debating between the Screensaverz from Radtech and the one from Marware. Also, is that BT 500 mouse good? It looks kinda cheap in the pictures. I am thinking about getting one of those or just getting the Apple bt mouse.

The BT500 mouse is actually quite sturdy. The pictures don't do it justice when it comes to quality because it doesn't look or feel or perform cheaply in person. It's a small, portable mouse (read: not full size) which is perfect if you travel and need a mouse. I just don't have space for a full size one in my briefcase, that is and keep it safe.

Just my 2 cents.

Grats :)

Case and mouse are the important accessories.

You might also think of a keyboard protector, if you're like me... no matter how careful I am, my keyboards tend to get crumbs under them and just look plain manky after a year or so. The protector thing I have works great, and you never really notice it's there... especially with the shallow key travel of a laptop keyboard, it doesn't interfere with the movement.
