I'm a Mac newbie running a MacBook with Leopard. I have Parallels Desktop but haven't installed it since I have Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and Entourage) and it works great for all my Office needs. Do I really need to install Parallels? Is there a feature in it I would really use or ever need? TIA.

That question can only be answered by you.

If you don't have access to a Windows computer and you need to use Windows occasionally, then yes, Parallels would be beneficial.
If not, then I don't see any point in doing so.
