How do I reactivate .mac from retail box?

I've been using the 60 day trial version of .mac which has expired. I just bought a retail box version. It's being shipped today. How do I reactivate my account using my same username and password with a retail box version? If I try and reactivate from the web, it automatically takes me to a credit card page. Do I have to create a new username and password? I really like the one I have now. Isn't there any way to just put in a license key and reactivate my current account? Thanks
