Can i let my friend use my Mac OSX DVD?

She needs a fresh copy of OSX. Can i let her use my install DVDs?

Short answer, No. the OSX DVD that comes with a certain machine are for that exact model Mac only and will not work on another model.

Also it's against their EULA to install on more than one machine unless it's a family pack, and then it's within a household.

Your system discs are specifically tied to your machine based on its hardware configuration and the End-User License Agreement. If your friend lost her discs, she should contact Apple for replacements, they typically cost around $40.
