Hello, I'm trying to transfer files from one macbook to another. I have created a new network and both computers are connected to it. I have turned on file sharing in the system preferences sharing folder on both computers. The two computers seem to be connected. I put the needed files in the drop box(shared) folder. But when I try to access the files from the other mac, it says I don't have access privileges. Can anyone help straighten out this issue? Thank you so much for your help.

Open your finder
Click the Computer you want to connect to on the left under "Shared"
On the top right of the finder, it should say "connect as"
Enter the username and password of the laptop your are trying to connect to

That seemed to work for me =p
