I've seen a posting about this, but I just want to see if everyone has the same issue. My time capsule (literally 3 days old) stays HOT. I mean, I have touched it a time or two just to see and it always kind of feels like the hood of a car feels after sitting under the sun in 80 degree weather.

Is this standard? Seems a little warm & not that good for the thing to me...

I wouldn't use the word "hot", but it definitely stays warm all the time.

My Airport Extreme is the same way. Just make sure nothing gets placed on it as to interfere with its ability to dissipate heat and all should be fine.
