Syncing 3G with Microsoft Entourage

It's my understanding that the older iPhones could be sync'd to Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac / Entourage. This allowed you to keep their calendar and email. Does anyone know if the new 3G can do this?

Since they're running the same software, it would be a pretty safe bet to assume that yes, the new 3G iPhone will also be able to do something the older one can.
